Matthew A. Tessieri | Associate
Matt Tessieri represents and advises both businesses and individuals in pre-dispute and formal litigation matters. He regularly advises individuals and executives regarding strategies to both resolve disputes and prevail when a dispute arises. Matt concentrates his practice in civil trial practice in federal and state courts, with an emphasis on complex commercial and business litigation, trade secret and intellectual property litigation, contract disputes and business torts.
Matt was born in Los Angeles, California and received his undergraduate degree in Law and Society and Environmental Sciences from the University of California, Santa Barbara. He attended law school at University of San Diego where he was a Lead Article Editor for the San Diego Law Review and graduated cum laude. Matt began to practice law in 2001 at Gray Cary Ware and Freidenrich and joined Solomon Ward in 2010. Beyond his professional interests, Matt is an avid athlete and adventure seeker; he enjoys surfing, skiing, scuba diving, mountain biking and international travel.
