Ms. Tennison has focused her practice on commercial real estate including ground leasing and acquisitions for a national restaurant chain franchisor, representation of investors in acquisitions and sales of commercial, industrial and multi-family properties, acquisitions for an assisted living facility operator and developer from due diligence activities through closings on improved and unimproved land and leasing on behalf of owners and tenants in commercial and industrial properties.
Prior to practicing at a large law firm in San Diego, she worked in the Los Angeles regional real estate department of a national railroad handling leasing, property management and sales of corporate properties (including sales of rail lines for passenger transit) and worked closely with outside counsel in resolution of litigation matters involving environmental and contract matters. Early in her career, Ms. Tennison worked on construction defect litigation and business matters on behalf of homeowners’ associations. She received her Juris Doctor degree from Pepperdine University. Ms. Tennison’s has a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from the University of Kentucky and is an Honors Program graduate.
