Monique Matosian-Bharucha practices estate planning, trust administration and probate administration. Monique’s practice is rooted in her passion for helping others.  Monique partners with her clients to support and guide them, whether planning for her clients’ future or navigating the challenges of a trust or probate after a loved one’s loss or incapacity.  Monique understands that trust and communication are key to a successful relationship, and nurtures those qualities through actively listening to and resolving her clients’ concerns and issues.

Monique graduated from UC Berkeley in 2000, and from the University of Nottingham School of Law in 2006 (LL.M (Hons)).  A native San Diegan, Monique also lived in Switzerland, France, and the UK for over 15 years, working in both Paris and London.  Monique qualified for the New York State Bar in 2007, and qualified for the California State Bar in 2017.

Building on her own experience, Monique’s practice includes international estate planning for individuals with assets in Europe and Canada.  Monique speaks fluent French, and brings her experience as a business owner, wife, and mother of three to her practice.

In addition, Monique enjoys giving back to and improving her community. She servers on the Board of Directors of the Probate Attorneys of San Diego (PASD) and on the Scripps Health Gift Planning Advisory Council. In 2023, Monique was awarded PASD’s Annual Award for Community Service. Monique is a member of the San Diego County Bar Association and South Asian Bar Association, is an active member of her children’s Parent Associations, formerly service as the President of High Tech Elementary Explorer’s Parent Association, and is a Co-Treasurer of her younger children’s Girl Scout Troop. Monique is also an avid cook, who enjoys spending time with and cooking for her family and friends.
