Solomon Ward Seidenwurm & Smith LLP announced that partner Patrick Klingborg will assume the role of Chair of the firm’s Transactional Department, effective January 1, 2026.
Klingborg advises clients at every stage of the business lifecycle, including formation, venture and growth-stage financings, mergers and acquisitions, and a wide range of commercial transactions. He was recently recognized as one of the San Diego Business Journal’s 100 Leaders of Influence in Law for 2025.

As head of the Transactional Department, Klingborg will continue to build on Solomon Ward’s established transactional law platform. The firm’s transactional attorneys advise clients on M&A, equity financings, commercial transactions, trust & estates, real estate, and tax law.
